APF Sichuan Contingent Conduct Flood-Fighting and Rescue Drills

The Sichuan Contingent of the Chinese People's Armed Police Force (APF)organized flood-fighting and rescue drills separately in Chengdu, capitol city ofSichuan province, eastern Sichuan, southern Sichuan and northwestern Sichuan onJuly 25, 2012. The APF officers and men conducted the drills on the subjects of urgent call-out, long-range maneuver, camping management, aquatic rescue, rescuing the wounded, emergency danger-evasion, dike-and-dam reinforcement andso on, in a bid to further improve troop's emergency rescue ability.
