“Bengbu” warship conducts first maritime training

The “Bengbu” warship, first homemade new-type frigate of the Navy of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA), conducted its first maritime training from April 8 to 12, 2013 after its commission. During the training, the officers and men on the “Bengbu” warship carried out training on such subjects as maritime live-ammunition shooting, 48-hour continuous drill, maritime lifesaving and ship operation which greatly enhanced the organization and command capability of the commanders and coordination capability of the crew.
