“Fuxian Lake” supply ship connects Nansha Islands and mainland


The new-type comprehensive supply ship “Fuxian Lake” designed and built independently by China was commissioned in 2007, which was specially built for the material replenishment and shift-change of the reef garrison troop unit on the Nansha Islands. The “Fuxian Lake” comprehensive supply ship adopts various advanced international and domestic technologies and possesses some strong points such as high navigational speed, large supply amount and great replenishment efficiency.
Since it sailed to the Nansha Islands in July of 2009 for the first time, the “Fuxian Lake” comprehensive supply ship has successfully completed the tasks of transporting shift-change personnel and replenishing materials for the reef garrison troop units on the Nansha Islands for more than 10 times.
